Most Recent Posts: askSam7 installation problem 7/18/2009 12:07:41 AM   (Total replies: 0) When I tried to install askSam 7, I recived error message as follows: "Error 1601 Windows Installer Service could not be accessed." Using msconfig, I checked to insure that all Windows Install and Installghield programs were in the Startup and Serices on section, rebooted, and still the same result. I then tried to install SurfSaver and rece3ived follwoing error message: "Error 1607 unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime." I then used msconfig to make sure INstallshiled ...
