| The Right-click for SurfSaver in Internet Explorer suddenly disappeared from my Internet Explorer 7.0.
I uninstalled, then Re-installed Surfsaver 6.1 but the problem is still there.
I found a solution for older versions of SurfSaver in the faq but it is really complicated and involves a lot of work in the Registry.
Is there another simpler way ? |

| In fact all items in the Registry were correct and still SurfSaver was not appearing in the Context Menu of IE.
The problem is solved in the following way:
- It appears that the Context Menu of Internet Explorer admits only a limited number of items
- When you install a new program, if it adds too many items to the context menu, the bottom items will just disappear to show the new ones.
- The solution is to delete some items that are not being used from the Context Menu
- This can ... |

| I had the same problem.
I uninstalled version 6.0
Tried to install version 6.1
Got the same error
At this point I opened Internet Explorer 7 and was surprised to see that in fact Surfsaver was still there and functional.
So it was not uninstalled !!??
I will now try the steps recommended and see what happens. |

| SurfSaver now does not appear on the Add/Remove in Controle Panel.
However it can still be disabled / enabled from the Add-In Manager in Internet Explorer.
There should be a clear procedure for uninstalling SurfSaver: It seems that uninstalling just from the Add/Remove Screen does not do the job.
Maybe it should first be disabled from the Add-In Manager in IE before being uninstalled by the Add/Remove... |

| I am using Windows XP.
I just upgraded to Surfsaver 6.
The program installed normally and I can see the Surfsaver Icon.
However when I click on it, the Explorer Bar which appears is just all grey.
If I right-click to try and save a page in SurfSaver I receive :
"Internet Explorer Script Error" :
Error: Object does not support this property or method
URL: file .....\Surfsaver6\add.htm
The previous version of SurfSaver Pro worked fine.
Please help - Urgent |

| Just as a reminder: I am using Windows XP.
I solved my problem by just installing the "surfsaverfullsetup.exe" program (this is not the one recommended for Win XP on the AskSam Web Site!!). I did the installation over my old one.
I initially had used the "surfsaversetup.exe" which was recommended for Win XP on the web site. Once installed, not only it did not work but it refused to uninstall.
